The really odd thing is I don't think it's a mod causing the issue, as I troubleshot the issue by disabling all mods and spawning Arturo from diamond city in front of one of my bots. The only things outside my settlement they don't seem interested in attacking are minutemen squads, probably because they are allied to me. If I make a robot and it lives in a settlement it will attack anything that enters the settlement that's not part of it, be it Trashcan Carla, her Brahmin, whatever. All of my Automatrons that are not current companions and are simply in my settlements are hostile to all NPCs outside of my settlements.
